Who we are

Lampjack is run by James Ian McDonnell, Evropska 692/14, Prague 160 00, Czech Republic.

This website

The homepage collects nothing unless you allow analytics. If you press Allow, we use Google Analytics to count visits. It sets cookies (names starting _ga) and records the pages you view, the page that sent you, your browser and device, and your rough location from your IP address. Google processes this for us and may handle it outside the EU. We use it only to see how many people visit and whether they go on to open the app.

You can change your mind at any time with the Analytics choice button at the foot of the homepage. Choosing No thanks removes the cookies.

Use my mic

The homepage's Use my mic button analyses sound inside your browser to move the lamp. Nothing is recorded or sent anywhere.

The app

The app runs in your browser. Your music files, sets, scenes and settings stay on your computer, in your browser's storage. They are not sent to us. If you use the YouTube source, YouTube's own player loads in a window of its own, and Google's terms and privacy policy apply to it.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, and ask us to delete it. Write to the contact above. You can also complain to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz), or to the data protection authority where you live.
