Who we are

Lampjack is run by James Ian McDonnell, Evropska 692/14, Prague 160 00, Czech Republic.

What Lampjack is

Lampjack draws visuals that react to music, in your browser. It needs Chrome or Edge on a desktop computer with WebGPU.

The plans

Minutes count only while an output window is open. A day runs from midnight to midnight UTC. When the minutes run out, the current track may finish, up to 5 more minutes. Then the visuals fade to a Lampjack screen. Your music is not stopped.

Paying and cancelling

Payments are handled by Stripe, through its Link service, whose terms apply to the payment. Your card statement shows LINK.COM. A subscription renews until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time from the Account page, and it runs to the end of the period you have paid for.

If you are a consumer in the EU, you can normally withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. By subscribing you ask us to start straight away. If you withdraw after that, you may lose or pay for the part already used, as the law allows.

Music and rights

You are responsible for having the rights to the music you play and to the images and video you add. At a public event, the music licence is a matter for you and the venue.

YouTube

Lampjack works with YouTube through YouTube's own embedded player, in a window that must stay visible. It is the same on every plan, and running out of free minutes never stops the player. YouTube's terms and Google's privacy policy apply to that player.

YouTube's terms allow personal, non-commercial use only. Don't use YouTube as the music at public or paid events. You are responsible for having the rights to the music you play.

What we do not promise

We work to keep Lampjack running, but we do not promise it will never fail, including during a show. Keep a fallback for anything that matters. Nothing here takes away rights you have by law as a consumer.

Changes and law

We may change these terms. If a change matters, we will say so in the app first. Czech law applies, along with any consumer rights you have where you live.
